Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) Housing Choice Voucher
To be eligible, applicants must meet HUD income guidelines and participants pay approximately 30 percent of adjusted gross monthly income for rent. With HCV, participants are able to select their own housing, provided the housing meets program requirements, and is located outside of the City of Pocatello. However, due to high demand applicants are placed on waiting lists which varies from 12 months to 18 months, depending on their current housing status and the area of the state and program funding levels.

The Housing Company offers a variety of affordable and low-income housing options in Southeast Idaho.
Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships (HACP) Housing Choice Voucher
The Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships administers the federally funded Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program in the City of Pocatello on behalf of HUD. Participants in this program rent private apartments in the community and receive financial assistance from the Voucher Program to pay a portion of the rent. They may have to pay for some utilities.
Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships (HACP) Public and Low-Income Housing
HACP offers a variety of housing options in the City of Pocatello where tenants either pay 30% of their income; a low, fixed-rate; or a fair market rate. Some properties and units require tenants to meet certain income requirements. Waiting lists may vary, but can be up to 3-5 years.
SEICAA Affordable Housing
SEICAA’s Affordable Housing Program strives to provide safe and affordable housing assistance options to low-income community members. The Program manages five properties in Bannock County and one property in Bingham County, housing over 150 individuals and families from low-income, disabled, elderly, and veteran populations. Apartment sizes range from studio suites to multi-family units.
Bannock Youth Foundation
Emergency shelter, counseling and aftercare for runaway and homeless youth and their families. Also counseling for at-risk youth and their families on an outpatient basis.

Works to revitalize neighborhood and provide affordable housing opportunities in targeted low and moderate income neighborhoods.
St. Vincent de Paul
Non-profit organization established in 1950 that serves as a rehabilitation center for the homeless.

Provides residential treatment, group homes, adoption and other services for troubled, disturbed, delinquent or abused children and adolescents.
