2017 Splish & Splash Coloring Contest

Would you like to win free tickets to the Splish & Splash on August 4, 2017? Color and return a coloring page to our administration office and you could win!

One winner will be chosen from each age group listed on the coloring page. Each winner will receive a free family pass (admission for 4 family members) to our 5th Annual Splish and Splash on August 4, 2017.

To be eligible for a prize, you must include your name, age group, and some form of contact information so that we can notify you if you win! We will not share your personal information with anyone.

All entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017. You may bring them to our administrative office at 210 E. Center St, Suite A, or mail them to Aid for Friends, PO Box 4233, Pocatello, ID 83205. Winners will be chosen by an independent jury of volunteers from the Pocatello Arts Council, and will be notified by Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

*One entry per person!

5th Annual Splish & Splash

**Update**

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Aid for Friends in our 5th Annual Splish & Splash! It was a record-breaking year both in terms of attendance and fundraising. We had over 300 attend, and raised just over $8000! This event is so important, because charitable giving is typically at its lowest in the middle of the year. This will give the shelter a much-needed boost through the end of the year, until our next big fundraiser in December, the 11th Annual Homeless Encampment.

Tickets

Tickets are now only available at the event – we can accept cash or credit/debit cards. Admission includes full use of the swimming pool and big slide, a barbecue-style dinner, and music provided by a professional DJ. We will have exclusive use of Ross Park Swimming Pool that night!

Please invite your friends and family for a family fun night.

Raffles

This year, we are offering a general raffle, as well as a special art raffle! You can purchase tickets at the Administration Office, at the event, or you can pay online using one of the links below. We will enter your name and contact info on each ticket purchased, and notify you if you have won! You do not need to be present to win, but will be responsible for picking up your prize from the Administration Office. We cannot ship or deliver prizes.

Avenues for Hope 2016

Information

The 11th Annual Aid for Friends Homeless Encampment will be held from 9:00 am Saturday, December 2, 2017, until 9:00 am Sunday, December 3, 2017.

This is a unique event in which participants raise money by soliciting tax-deductible pledges from individuals and businesses, and spend the night in a cardboard box in the heart of an Idaho winter. There will be both light entertainment and heart-touching stories, as well as a soup kitchen style dinner and burn barrels for warmth.

Help us make this our biggest encampment yet by committing to spend the night in a cardboard box for a single night. You will ask friends, family members, and business owners to sponsor you, and all donations will go right back to Aid for Friends.
